MEDOS DELTASTREAM^®
System Trolley III

The compact design of the DELTASTREAM^® console in combination with its integrated safety and control functions is outstanding for mobile applications.

Transport of seriously ill patients connected to extracorporeal circulations, can be accomplished optimal by means of the new DELTASTREAM^® Trolley III.

The narrow construction of the DELTASTREAM^® system enables transportation of critical patients especially in cramped areas such as intensive care units and cardiac catheter laboratories.

Due to the wheels, which can be moved in all directions, the DELTASTREAM^® Trolley III proves to be a mobile device, even on bumpy grounds.

The steadiness is a result of a low balance point and a close positioning of the components to the system.

An easy and safe locking of the DELTASTREAM^® and the backup console is possible without using any tools.

To ensure oxygen delivery throughout the transport, there are two holders for oxygen and air supplying devices at the bottom of the trolley.

The DELTASTREAM^® Trolley III with its ergonomic and solid design completed the DELTASTREAM^® system in terms of a compact perfusion system with a maximum of mobility.

Because of a close collaboration with the end users of the MEDOS VAD system the MEDOS VAD-Atrium-Cannulae were further improved. These modified MEDOS VAD-Atrium-Cannulae allow a sure and easy cannulation of the left and/or right atrium.

The features of the MEDOS VAD-Apex-Cannulae were also further improved. MEDOS VAD-Apex-Cannulae are very flexible and kink resistant. They feature an optimised flow characteristics and a new suture ring of a material, which was developed especially for the purpose.

MEDOS Arterial-VAD-Cannulae

Via the arterial VAD cannulae the blood flows back from the pump to the patient. For this purpose the cannulae grafts are fixed to the aorta and/or the pulmonary artery by means of an anastomosis. The arterial VAD cannulae are available in two variants, with each different graft materials, and thus complete the user oriented product range.

The high jet streams and the resulting pressure heads during ECC procedure with standard aortic cannulae can lead to a detachment of arterial sclerotic plaque in the ascending aorta and thus to postoperative, neurological deficits , up to multiple organ failure and subsequently to the death of the patient .
